Prophet Jesus and Last Dinner
Prophet Jesus and Last Dinner
Apostles asking for dinner from heaven…
The apostles were the violators who believed in the Prophet Jesus (pbuh). These were Christ’s helpers to spread religion. Barnabas was one of the twelve apostles in Biblical writer Barnabas.
THE PROPHET JESUS AND LAST DiNNER…. Jesus was a prophet of Allah.
One day the Apostles asked the Prophet Jesus to pray for a meal from the sky.
It is described as follows in the Qur’an.
“[And remember] when the disciples said, “O Jesus, Son of Mary, can your Lord send down to us a table [spread with food] from the heaven? [Jesus] said,” Fear Allah, if you should be believers.” (Maide 112)
Jesus Christ was angry at their request and said, “Do you doubt the might of Allah?” asked.
“They said, “We wish to eat from it and let our hearts be reassured and know that you have been truthful to us and be among its witnesses.” (Maide 113)
Thereupon, the Prophet Jesus (pbuh) took the ablution and prayed to Allah after performing two rak’ahs and demanded that it be celebrated as a feast by those who believe today.
“Said Jesus, the son of Mary, “O Allah, our Lord, send down to us a table [spread with food] from the heaven to be for us a festival for the first of us and the last of us and a sign from You. And provide for us, and You are the best of providers.”(Maide 114)
“Allah said, “Indeed, I will sent it down to you, but whoever disbelieves afterwards from among you – then indeed will I punish him with a punishment by which I have not punished anyone among the worlds.” (Maide 115)
Reportedly, there was a fried fish, salt and vinegar on the table, descending from the sky. The table, which was equipped with greenery, also had bread, olives, honey, cheese.
